ABRI LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE
This week ABRI has launched our new website. It includes a wealth of information for the general public, information on how and where to recycle safely. We are also proud to introduce a new members only area to provide added value and interactivity for members. The primary contact for each member organisation will shortly receive a login and password.
LITHIUM AUSTRALIA ACQUIRES SIGNIFICANT EQUITY POSITION IN ENVIROSTREAM
This new partnership will combine the key competencies of Lithium Australia and Envirostream will allow the latter to expand its operations, thereby ensuring that critical metals recovered from recycled batteries remain under Australian control to the point of sale.
NEW DISCOVERY MAKES FAST-CHARGING, BETTER PERFORMING LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES POSSIBLE
Creating a lithium-ion battery that can charge in a matter of minutes but still operate at a high capacity is possible, according to research from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute just published in Nature Communications.
Recycling International reports that a revision of the EU’s Batteries Directive is likely after an official review found that objectives for the collection of waste batteries and their recovery had not been fully delivered.
Redflow Limited has today announced a pro-rata, non-renounceable entitlement offer to raise up to approximately $15 million (before offer costs) to fund its business plan and execute on its strategy to deliver sales. Redflow aims to qualify its batteries for State-based adoption programs.
BATTERY RECYCLING KEY TOPICS AT AUTOMOTIVE RECYCLING EVENT IN AUSTRIA
Waste Management World reports that this year’s International Automobile Recycling Congress, which took place in Vienna, Austria, saw some 220 experts from 24 countries came together to discuss the latest industry. The discussion focused around the potential in the battery recycling sector and the importance of a circular economy.
