AUSTRALIAN-CHINESE PARTNERSHIP TO COMMERCIALISE LITHIUM BATTERY TECHNOLOGY |

An Australian company, VSPC, has partnered with a Chinese firm to commercialise a Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) cathode product. The MoU between VSPC and Beijing Saideli Technology Incorporated Company (SDL) covers the low capital establishment of a supply chain for the cathode material in China, in addition to collaboration for a study into the feasibility for international cathode material, based on VSPC technology.

TES ANNOUNCES EXPANSIVE NEW BATTERY RECYCLING SERVICES |

On 6 November 2019, TES announced the opening of two new battery recycling facilities – TES B in Singapore and Recupyl in Grenoble, France. The approximately $25 million investment positions TES as a leader in the lithium battery recycling market and the growing second life battery space.

PUBLIC INTEREST IN PROPOSED VICTORIAN BATTERY RECYCLING FACILITY HIGH |

The Victorian EPA held consultation sessions during January regarding a works approval application for a proposed lead acid battery recycling facility in Gippsland, Victoria with submissions extended until 31 January 2020. The proposal estimates 98 per cent of the lead, plastic and electrolyte (sulfuric acid) in batteries will be recycled.

Based in Immingham in England, SAR Recycling is a leading provider of battery collection and recycling services across the UK and Ireland.
