ABRI WRITES TO STATES AND TERRITORIES WITH A CALL TO ACTION ON HARMONISATION

ABRI has written to all Premiers as well as industry and environment ministers requesting clarification of the requirements for battery facilities, collection and recycling.  The letters also includes a call to action for improving harmonisation in response to COVID19 and the upcoming battery stewardship scheme.  If you would like to be on the working report to review responses and update our harmonisation strategy, please let click on the link below..

ADG 7.7 RELEASED

The National Transport Commission has revised the Australian Dangerous Goods Code.     We are fortunate to have Debra Kirk from the NTC presenting at next weeks ABRI General Meeting.   Debra will update us on implementation timing and related issues.

FEEDBACK ON REVISED REUSE POLICY REQUESTED

The ABRI Executive has revised the Reuse policy recognising the importance of reuse as the energy storage market evolves.   Input from members is sought in order to finalise the policy prior to publication.
