The voice for the mobile telecommunications industry in Australia

The Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association (AMTA ) is the peak industry body representing Australia’s mobile telecommunications industry. AMTA members include mobile Carriage Service Providers (CSPs), handset manufacturers, retail outlets, network equipment suppliers and other suppliers to the industry.

AMTA’s vision is to promote an environmentally, socially and economically responsible, successful and sustainable mobile telecommunications industry in Australia.

MobileMuster, which is managed by AMTA, is the product stewardship program of the mobile phone industry and is accredited by the federal government. It is voluntarily funded by all of the major handset manufacturers and network carriers to provide a free mobile phone recycling program in Australia to the highest environmental standard. The program is committed to raising awareness and educating the community on why it is important to recycle.
